Heather Goldminc grew up in North Vancouver, B.C. and at the age of 5 her mother brought home a bag of clay. Heather Goldminc's interest was stirred and has kept up with ceramic art works to this day. Heather performed many jobs while putting herself through art school and eventually married her boss at the shoe store she worked at while going through school.

Heather Goldminc started selling her ceramic art works to gift shops and galleries and in 1996 moved to a small island near Vancouver where she set up a studio. 

Her studio was one the most popular places for gift buying and her success continues to this day. Heather Goldminc's ceramic art is highly prized and sought after.
