About Big Sky Carvers

Big Sky Carvers began with over 25 years ago with Marc Pierce and his dad carving duck decoys and offering them to the public. From duck decoys a natural progression to other carvings; moose, deer, bear etc. From carvings the beautiful sculptures entered and now over 1500 products have the Big Sky Carvers name. You can see the influence that the great outdoors have on the artists at Big Sky Carvers. Each sculpture is carved from clay or wax with every duplicate an exact copy of the original. Once the edition is met the master mold is then destroyed. The art of decoy carving takes many years to perfect. Big Sky Carvers use large west coast Sugar Pine for their carvings and the carving artists take great care in producing great works.
