About Jody Bergsma

When Jody Bergsma was a young child she had nightmares and to give comfort to Jody her mother suggested nightmares and the creatures into paintings. 

Changing these nightmares into art would take dismiss the frightening creatures from Jody causing her no harm. These childhood paintings are the foundation of Jody Bergsma's work today.

From the age of 15 Jody Bergsma was selling every painting she could produce, paying for her education. Her watercolors were and still are a big hit and sought after. She studied in Europe and Jody debated between an engineering career or art and just before graduation she dropped out and began her wonderful career in art.
